Janet joined Just Voices at the beginning of 2007 initially singing Lead and later switching to Tenor. Having always been an enthusiastic singer, she enjoyed the challenges presented by a cappella having previously sung mainly choral music. With experience of conducting from her music teaching career, she was pleased to take on the role of Assistant Musical Director in 2015 and to conduct at rehearsals and performances as necessary. She took over as Musical Director at the beginning of 2019. With such an enthusiastic group of singers who already sing to a high standard and who are always prepared to take on new challenges, she is keen to take the chorus to new heights whilst at the same time encouraging new members to experience the joy of singing.
Catherine joined the Baritone section of Just Voices in 2010, and now enjoys acting as their part leader, as well as serving on the Music Team and the Committee. Sue has been an active member of Just Voices since 2015, singing the Bass part. She is on the Committee, and is the Public Relations Officer for the chorus, and as such, helps to publicise and promote Just Voices. She says that no matter how down she feels when she comes to rehearsals, after ten minutes her mood is lightened and she is guaranteed a joyful evening of song and friendship.
